Agreement to these terms & conditions is required at ordering stages
In the following section, I am referred to as 'the artist' - you are referred to as 'the client'
A 50% non-refundable deposit secures the clients order and enables work to be added to the artists list of work.
Acceptable reference material must be provided within 3 months of the deposit being paid. The artist reserves the right to increase prices or decline the commission [without refund] if the above timescale is exceeded.
Portraits are quoted for per subject only - if a background is required please advise and this can be quoted separately.
Once work has been completed a copyright protected copy will be provided for your approval
Once the contract is agreed by payment of the deposit, requests for changes or amendments may be charged at extra cost
The full balance becomes payable prior to dispatch
PAYMENT
Orders/Commissions will not be processed or despatched until full payment has been made. Any item ordered remains in 'FOR SALE' status until funds have cleared through the nominated bank account. Original items are sold to the buyer who credits the account first.

PayPal payments are subject to a service charge of 4% - this amount needs to be paid in addition to the order price.
Delivery lead times will be advised at the deposit stage but are approximate and subject to change as needed.
SHIPPING: UK Only
Prints
are shipped for a fee of £10 for up to 5 items
Over 5 items cost to be advised subject to weight, size and destination
Prints sent in a secured cardboard tube or flat packed reinforced package
Items are sent via Royal Mail Track and Trace and insured. A signature is required on delivery.
Original Artwork
Post , packing & insurance is extra in all cases
Original artwork will be sent in protective packaging via a reputable courier service
Orders placed online may not deduct sufficient payment in which case a further payment will be required prior to despatch
Cost will be advised depending on destination and value of product
Goods will be despatched promptly once payment has been made.
Delays of more than 7 days of payment for shipping charges may incur additional storage fees
SHIPPING: Overseas
Post , packing & insurance is extra in all cases
Orders placed online may not deduct sufficient payment in which case a further payment will be required prior to despatch
Cost will be quoted separately and is subject to size, weight and final destination
Goods will be despatched promptly once payment has been made.
Delays of more than 7 days of payment for shipping charges may incur additional storage fees
Copyright of the artwork and any copies remains with artist unless otherwise agreed in writing.
OTHER
Artist reserves the right to use all artworks for advertising and print production purposes unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Portraits are supplied without mount [mat] and unframed. Framing can be provided at extra cost [UK only] - quotation will be provided once details are known
Prices are correct at the time of quotation/enquiry but may be subject to increase if deposit has not been paid within 4 weeks

Disclaimer: It is assumed that all reference material, photos etc provided to the artist are owned by the client or that the client has obtained the necessary permission to allow them to be used
